The primary goal of all Titus Sports Academy programs is to physically develop children. The CHAMPIONS program provides the first level of teaching the fundamentals of physical development with movements that build body awareness and control in a fun, engaging atmosphere. One of the unique benefits discovered through children participating in the school setting, is the opportunity for children of all skill levels and body types to feel successful and work together.
At the introductory level the program is designed to focus on the establishment and improvement of a students gross motor skills: mobility (flexibility), posture, balance, position strengthening, and coordination (movement sequencing). The physical fitness component is provided through the program?s continuous movements with aerobic type exercises to build cardiovascular endurance and improve body composition. Intangible goals and points of interest include increasing the enjoyment to move and exercise, encouragement toward structured play, verbal positive reinforcement, and raising the intellectual capacity to understand sports and physical fitness.
